We bought this as a second book display for the play area in our living room. I really like how the "lip" of every shelf is low, and it doesn't cover up the book covers. The book display I got from Amazon for our baby's bedroom is ok, but it has deeper shelves (or higher rims? idk lol) and you can only see the top part of book covers, unless it's a very large book.
Assembly was easy enough; the only tricky part was to line up the shelves so that they all drop into sideboard sockets all at once.
